LOVE IS STRANGE, stars Emmy-winner John Lithgow, Alfred Molina, Cheyenne Jackson and Academy Award-winner Marisa Tomei and is billed as "a multi-generational story of love and marriage, depicting the delicate nature of any two people trying to build a long life together, and the possibility for love to grow deeper and richer with time." Vanity Fair's recent review, "breaking our heart while sending it soaring" is typical of critics' reactions:

Highlights of the Centennial Celebration

This spring we invited one of our most respected alums, Bud Talbott, Y ’43 to come to the Centennial, but he was not able to be present. In our conversations we did hatch the idea that he might Skype us while the Conference was on so that we could have more direct connection with him than a letter. We worked out the cyber-logistics and there he was on our computer screen at the bar. He told us a delightful story attesting to the strength of the bonds between Sigma brethren

Why Sasha Gave to the Annual Campaign

I give to Saint A's because the Hall was where a lot of my college experience took the late night discussions at the bar, and in the friendships that developed there.  I hope that today's members can develop the bonds that have endured for me 25 years of post college life.  I give in the hope that the Hall can be an important part of members' lives today and 25 years from now.

A Feast of Music at the Sigma Soiree

The Sigma Soiree was conceived and coordinated by Sally Sanford '75 as an event that would evoke the musical world of 1913 and to celebrate Spring.  She sent out invitations for participation by the musicians in our alumni membership and in the current undergraduate delegation.

The participants in the Centennial Weekend Celebration came back to the Hall after a festive dinner at the Quinnipiac Club and were served up a multi-act concert.

Alums Return to the Hall at Reunions

During both of the Yale Class Reunion weekends alums from classes that ended in  3's and 8's came to the Hall for Happy Hours and for Brunch.  They talked to their classmates and met alums from other classes and a good time was had by all.

The class of 1958 came together for a dinner at the Hall along with their wives.  The person who came the farthest was Ted Achilles who had flown in from Afghanistan where he has been teaching young women for the last ten years.
